Gather the assembled kit, four wheels, and two 330M belts
-
Remove one washer and locknut from the truck
-
-
Slide a wheel onto the truck that has a pulley, with the pulley facing inward
-
Secure the wheel with a washer and locknut
-
-
Loosen the two motor mount screws if they aren't already
-
Get a piece of printer paper, and fold it in half three times (so it is 8 pieces thick)
-
-
Move the motor mount back from the wheel so there is a gap, ensure that the wheel is as far back as possible
-
Place the piece of paper between the motor pulley and rim of the tire
-
Move the motor towards the tire until the motor pulley is lightly pinching the piece of paper
-
-
Tighten the two motor mount bolts half a turn at a time to evenly clamp the motor mount
-
Remove the piece of paper, and you should have a small gap between the motor pulley and tire hub
-
-
Remove the locknut and one washer
-
Then, remove the wheel and add a belt around the motor pulley
-
Reinstall the wheel with the belt around both pulleys
-
If you secured the four motor bolts, you will need to loosen them to allow the motor pulley to be close enough to the wheel pulley
-
-
Secure the wheel with a washer and locknut
-
Pull back on the motor to tension the belt
-
While holding it in this position, tighten the one exposed motor bolt
-
-
Remove the one washer, locknut, wheel, and belt
-
Tighten the other three motor bolts
-
Reinstall the wheel and locknut to finish the assembly of this side!
-
The order of parts on the truck from inside to outside should be:
-
Washer, wheel, washer, locknut
-
-
-
Then, remove one washer and locknut from the front truck
-
Place a wheel on the truck with the stem facing outwards
-
Add the washer and locknut back to the truck and tighten (washer, wheel, washer, locknut)
-
-
-
Now its time to inflate the wheels!
-
We use this nifty protable air compressor from Amazon
-
Inflate the tires to 50PSI. You should set the compressor to 55-60PSI because some air will leak out when you remove the connector
